Nikki Charlton specializes exclusively in the area of family law. Her practice includes all matters affecting families in British Columbia such as separation, divorce, property division, support, guardianship, residency issues, and parenting time. Nikki has extensive experience in the resolution of complex and high conflict cases and regularly appears in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and has also successfully argued custody cases in our Court of Appeal. Nikki offers every process option to her clients, from litigation, arbitration, mediation, negotiation, to the formal Collaborative Process.

Nikki is a regular contributor to continuing education seminars for lawyers and mental health professionals, and recently presented on the topic “Protecting Children from Conflict” at the 2016 CLE Assessment & Interventions: The Intersection of Family Law and Psychology.

Nikki is an accredited Family Law Mediator, Family Law Arbitrator, and in 2015 was named by Lexpert as one of Canada’s leading Lawyers Under 40. Nikki has two young children (ages 7 and 5), and is a Partner at Farris LLP.
