As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Nancy brings over 20 years of experience as a family counsellor and family mediator to her work in Parenting Coordination.
Nancy’s work as a parenting coordinator is deeply informed by her extensive experience supporting families through separation and divorce, as well as individuals facing mental health challenges, intimate partner violence, and addiction. Additionally, she brings a strong background in working directly with children who have special and complex behavioural needs.
As a parenting coordinator, Nancy strives to de-escalate parental conflict, streamline, coparenting communication and protect the stability and well-being of children. She guides clients through the emotional complexities of parenting after separation, helping them shift from a high conflict dynamic so they can communicate effectively and execute practical child centred decisions.
Within the context of the Collaborative Family Law process, Nancy also serves as a separation and co-parenting therapist, as well as a designated child specialist. Furthermore, she is a qualified writer of hear the Child and Views of the Child reports.
Nancy operates a private counselling and mediation practice with office locations in Vancouver and Fort Langley.
